Plateau Catholic priests' kidnapper arrested in Ogun

52-year-old Christopher Yaro  who is one of the alleged  kidnappers of two catholic priests in Plateau State, has been arrested in Ogun State.
The suspect who was arrested by police operatives attached to the Ago-Iwoye Police Command on Monday 12th of February, 2024 and paraded alongside his 28-year-old cousin. They were paraded on Thursday by State Commissioner of Police,  Abiodun Mustapha Alamutu at the Ogun State Police Command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta,  Ogun State capital.
Alamutu said  Christopher who took part in the  kidnapping activity in Pankshin, Plateau State,  thought he could escape the arms of the law by fleeing to  Ogun  State.
He  said for security reasons, he would not  give detailed information about Yaro but the Command had contacted the Plateau  State Command and he would be  handed over to the Plateau  State Police Command.
Yaro’s cousin said he had asked him to go away when he learnt from his uncle in Abuja that he was involved in  a case of kidnapping. He claimed that  Yaro still came to meet him at work where the police arrested both of them.
