Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has stirred controversy on social media with her recent philanthropic efforts.

The actress, who was a strong supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 elections, announced her intention to assist 50 individuals with a sum of N5,000 each, her gesture was met with significant backlash.

Abraham clarified that the funds were meant to aid transportation for those in need of assistance in accessing food supplies, but the criticism on social media persisted.
