The President, in a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity on Wednesday also approved the appointment of three new executive directors for AMCON.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Gbenga Alade as the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

The appointment was pending their confirmation by the Nigerian Senate

The President, in a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity on Wednesday also approved the appointment of three new executive directors for AMCON.

The new executive directors are Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi and Lucky Adaghe.

“The President expects unflagging dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness from the new appointees so as to ensure that the operations of AMCON are more efficient, transparent, and in consonance with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system to maximize value and enhance investor confidence in the Nigerian economy,” the statement indicated.
