Veteran Nigerian singer Wasiu Alabi, famously known as Pasuma, has disclosed his plans for marriage.
The 55-year-old, who is a father of 10, expressed his intention to settle down following the one-year remembrance of his late mother, Alhaja Adijat Kuburat, who passed away in April last year.
Pasuma recently engaged in an exclusive interview with Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
During the interview, Ojo inquired, “When do you plan on getting married?”
Pasuma responded, “People have been asking me this question for 20, 30 years, and here you are, still asking at this stage of my life. Don’t worry, I will soon get married after celebrating my mum’s one-year anniversary.”
Reflecting on the loss of his mother, the fuji icon shared, “It has happened. There is nothing I can do about it. I love my mum. If I was asked to give anything in exchange for her life, I would have gladly done that. But that’s what God wanted so I have to let her go. She had suffered a lot. I did my best in taking care of her. It’s not easy losing mum or someone close to your heart.”
