Siatech Africa CEO Olaniyan honoured with Award for Innovation in Technology

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SIATECH Africa, Olanrewaju Olaniyan, has been announced by the Chartered Institute of Digital and Education Technology (CIDET), Nigeria as the recipient of its Award for Innovation in Technology.

The award was conferred on Mr. Olaniyan on February 24, 2024, in Abuja, Nigeria, during an official ceremony hosted by CIDET.

According to the institute in a letter dated December 1, 2023, “This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and impact in technology, driving digital transformation, fostering entrepreneurial growth, and contributing to societal advancement.”

Mr. Olanrewaju Olaniyan’s Siatech Africa has been credited with driving technological transformation in the telecommunication sector across the West African subregion and was recently honoured for outstanding regional collaboration at the 2023 Huawei Partner Awards in South Africa.

While expressing gratitude for the honour, the Siatech boss described it as being significant, not only because it is a recognition of his company’s growth but also one that would inspire him to continue to contribute to the development of young entrepreneurs in Nigeria and Africa in general.

“This award reinforces our resolve to continually commit to the future of technological innovation in Africa. Even as a young company, we are constantly proving that reliability and performance are not a function of size, but of discipline, teamwork, and the right mindset, and we look forward to collaborating with other organisations to build the Africa we will all be proud of,” he said.
