Tinubu storms Ondo, visits Fasoranti, Akeredolu's widow

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday stormed Ondo State to visit members of the pan Yoruba group, Afenifere at the Akure residence of Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

The president, who is expected to arrive Lagos today in readiness for the unveiling of the Red Line Rail project on Thursday, had promised during his campaign last year to re-visit Pa Fasoranti along with the big prize, after winning the election.

The president was at the residence of Pa Fasoranti today to pay homage to the Afenifere leader.

Tinubu also visited the widow of former Governor of Ondo, Betty Akeredolu in Owo. He was there in along with the Ondo Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and former Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande.

He consoled the widow of Akderedolu and urged her to remain strong and find solace in the legacy of her late husband.

Tinubu also visited the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegbesin Ogunoye. He was received by members of the Ondo State Council of Traditional rulers.

The Olowo of Owo thanked the president for his visit and promised that the traditional rulers would support his administration.
