Nigeria's food inflation rate is 35.41% -- Report

Nigeria’s food inflation rate as of January 2024 is 35.41%. This is according to a report from Trading Economics shared by Statisense on its X handle.

According to the report, Nigeria tops the list of  eight African countries sampled in the food inflation rate report.

In the report, Ghana  comes next to Nigeria with 27.1% inflation rate while Cameroon has  10.8%.  Benin Republic follows with 5.5% while Ivory Coast has 4.5%. Mali has 1.1% while each of Togo and Chad has 1.1%.
