Social media commentator, Daniel Regha, has lauded famous rapper and label boss, Olamide for carving a niche for himself in the entertainment industry while also impacting young artists.

Regha added that it is degrading and upsetting to see the level of credit the YBNL boss gets despite his contributions and mentorship in the entertainment scene.

He mentioned how Olamide has inspired and elevated careers of some of the new generation artists despite being an ‘old cat’, according to him, Olamide is undervalued and belittled.

He wrote via his X: “Olamide has impacted on many artists’ careers, then went ahead to elevate, mentor and inspire some new generation artistes;when it comes to paving the way for his colleagues,no one from his set comes close but he’s barely given due credit. The rate at which people belittle his impact is upsetting”.

The singer signed some of the most popular artists in the music industry such as Asake, Adekunle Gold, Bella Shmurda, Zlatan Ibile, Fireboy DML into his YBNL record label.
