Withheld salaries: FG treats us with disdain, says SSANU

SSANU

The President of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Mohammed Ibrahim has accused the Federal Government of treating the members of the association with disdain.

He said while the members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had been paid their  four-month withheld salaries, the SSANU members were ignored.

President Bola Tinubu had directed that workers in the public universities should be paid the salaries withheld by the former administration  because of the  strike they embarked upon in 2022.

But speaking as a guest on  Channels TV’s Politics Today, he said, “Today, as I speak to you, our colleagues in ASUU have been able to get theirs, and no one is saying anything about NASU and SSANU.
