Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa has expressed her anger with entertainment company, accusing the company of exploiting the tragic death of her close friend and colleague, Sisi Quadri, for its own gain.

The entertainment company had claimed that Quadri, who passed away unexpectedly, was in the process of securing a US Visa, with his approval allegedly close before his demise.

They even announced plans to hold an event in his honor.

Taking to her Instagram, Funmi vehemently refuted these claims, stating that Quadri had no plans to visit the embassy or obtain a US visa.

She criticized the company for spreading falsehoods while Quadri’s family and friends were grieving.

Stating her commitment to maintaining a reputation free of scandal, Funmi emphasized her intimate connection to Quadri, revealing their familial bond originating from Iwo town.

She further urged them to show respect for the deceased and cease exploiting his death for attention.

“Stop chasing clout with Sisi Quadri’s death.
It’s unfair! He never went to the embassy talk less of getting a USA Visa before the sudden death. Stop this thing.
