Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has claimed that 2Baba’s former manager, Efe Omorogbe prevented the singer from helping him while he was signed to his record label, Hypertek, years ago.
He disclosed this while reacting to the news of the ‘African Queen’ crooner’s split from his longtime manager, Omorogbe.
Sharing a screenshot of the report via his X handle, Dammy Krane wrote: “This man was the reason why 2baba didn’t do the things he planned to do for me while I was signed to Hypertek. Thank God.”

2Baba recently parted ways with his manager, Efe Omorogbe after 20 years of partnership.
The singer will now be represented by his new management company, Hypertek Digital.
Omorogbe, serving as the CEO of talent management firm Now Muzik, had earlier disclosed the separation through an Instagram announcement made on their official page.
The partnership between the two spanned nearly two decades, marking a significant chapter in their professional journey.
In a prior statement, Omorogbe shared deep appreciation for the privilege of collaborating with 2Baba, emphasizing the depth of their relationship beyond mere professional ties.
Addressing the reasons behind their parting, 2Baba took to social media, expressing gratitude for the support rendered by various individuals and organizations, including Now Muzik, in realizing his musical vision and accomplishments.
