Big Brother Naija reality star, Tolani Shobajo, popularly known as Tolanibaj, has stated why she cannot date a man like the popular skit maker, Lord Lamba.
Lord Lamba was recently called out and trolled on social media, following his controversy with his baby mama, Queen Mercy Atang.
In January 2023, the Queen shared pictures of Princess Keilah, whom she welcomed in 2022, but since then, she and Lord Lamba have remained tight-lipped about the matter.
The daughter is a product of a short-lived relationship between Queen and Lord Lamba.
The timing of this revelation (unveiling of the child by Lord Lamba) couldn’t be more intriguing, as it comes mere hours after Queen’s announced her engagement to King David, a Biomedical scientist.
The development triggered a wave of mixed reactions on social media. Some users felt Lamba’s timing was insensitive because it coincided with Atang’s engagement announcement.
Addressing the controversies in a recent Instagram post, Lamba, born Kelvin Anagbodu, revealed that he had kept his daughter away from social media to protect her from trolls.
The skit maker said since he and Atang are public figures, he did not want Keilah to become a victim of name-calling on social media.
It was reported that Lord Lamba’s mother had been skeptical about the paternity of the child and has never liked Queen.
Reacting to the controversy in a recent episode of ‘Bahd And Boujee Podcast’, which she co-hosts with actress Moet Abebe, Tolanibaj said she can never date a mummy’s boy like the skit maker.
She wondered why Lord Lamba would consult his mother before making decisions.
“I cannot date an only boy from Igbo family. It seems Lord Lamba is an Igbo man. I can’t date someone like him.”
