Renowned Nigerian actor, Nosa Rex, has shared insights into his reaction upon learning about his wife, Deborah’s, first pregnancy.
Reflecting on his emotional past, Rex revealed how he prioritized his wife’s well-being, ensuring she felt cherished and relieved of household chores.
In a recent interview, Rex revealed his deep-seated sensitivity towards pregnancy, shaped by the tragic loss of his mother shortly after his birth.
This experience instilled in him a deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges expectant mothers face.
Recalling the anticipation of impending fatherhood, Rex expressed immense joy upon learning of his wife’s pregnancy.
Determined to shield her from stress, he diligently attended to her needs, stating,
“It was an amazing time. I was so happy. My mom passed away just two days after giving birth, so I’m very sensitive when it comes to pregnancy. When my wife told me she was expecting our first child, I was overjoyed. I didn’t allow her to do any chores. I was very protective and just wanted to spoil her.”
Describing his wife’s pregnancies as moments of happiness, Rex emphasized his strong commitment to her well-being, stating, “My wife would always say she got the best treatment from me whenever she was pregnant,”
“I wouldn’t mind lying down and letting her walk all over me if that’s what made her feel good. My only concern was her well-being. If she showed any discomfort, I was there immediately to take care of her.
“Pregnant women are very delicate, you see. So when she told me she was pregnant again, it was another moment of great happiness for me.”
