‘I cannot wait to be a mother’ – Toke Makinwa

Popular media personality and Nollywood actress, Toke Makinwa has revealed that to become a mother is in her plans and it would happen soon.

The 39-year-old show host disclosed this in an Instagram post on Sunday while celebrating the 2024 Mother’s Day with her god-daughter.

Makinwa expressed confidence that she would be a mother soon.

She wrote, “I cannot wait to be a Mother, I know it’s in the cards for me and it’ll happen soon. Till then I’ll celebrate my first ever Mother’s Day as your god-mother.”

Toke Makinwa separated from her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, in 2015 after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.

In 2023, the actress stated on her podcast that she wouldn’t have left her marriage if she had a child with her ex-husband.
