I've always thought Davido hated me - Singer Omah Lay

Nigerian artiste Stanley Omah Didia, commonly known as Omah Lay, has made a surprising revelation.

He confessed to believing that his senior colleague, Davido, held animosity towards him.

The singer, famous for hits like ‘Soso,’ appeared to reference Davido’s recent act of playing his songs while driving American content creator Kai Cenat around Lagos on Monday night.

Omah Lay disclosed his past misconception about Davido’s feelings towards him, stating on his social media handle the following day, “I’ve always thought OBO [Davido] hated me!”

This marks the first instance of Davido openly endorsing Omah Lay’s music in public.

Despite being from Port Harcourt, Omah Lay is among the few emerging Nigerian artistes yet to secure a collaboration with Davido.
