Fourty five suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested in Ikorodu, Lagos State by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The suspects were arrested on Monday, March 11, following intelligence on the activities of an Organised Cybercrime Syndicate Network, OCSN, operating in the Ikorodu axis of the state, Dele Oyewale the spokesperson for the anti-graft agency said in a statement.
According to the statement items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include exotic vehicles, sophisticated mobile devices, and laptops.
“They will soon be arraigned in court upon conclusion of investigations'” the statement concluded.
