Nollywood actor Funsho Adeolu has raised questions regarding the financial sources of his female colleagues within the industry.

During an interview with Teju Babyface, the Yoruba actor disclosed that he commands a higher fee per movie compared to many Nollywood actresses, yet observes them owning larger vehicles.

Adeolu expressed skepticism that these actresses solely rely on earnings from acting to sustain their extravagant lifestyles.

He highlighted instances where some actresses primarily appear on set merely to maintain the notion that their livelihood stems from the industry.

“I charge more money per movie than most Nollywood actresses but they ride bigger cars than I do. They can’t say they make all that money from acting movies to fund their lifestyle”, Adeolu remarked.

“People that if I collect N200,000 in a job, they can’t collect N20,000, they are riding bigger cars than I am riding.

What they do is come on set, show themselves on TV, so they have the opportunity to”, he added.
