Real Madrid thrash Osasuna to open 10 point-gap at the top

Vinicius Junior hits a brace as Real Madrid thrashed Osasuna 4-2 on Saturday to open 10 points gap at the top of La Liga.

Madrid, playing away from home opened the scoring four minutes into the match from a terrible mistake. The defender ended up losing possession, allowing Vinicius Junior to pick up the ball before slotting it into the back of the net to make it 0-1.

Osasuna equalised three minutes later. Jorge Herrando produced a good pass and picked out Ante Budimir inside the box. He quickly took a shot which went into the bottom right corner and left the goalkeeper helpless.

Madrid went into the lead again in the 18th minute after Daniel Carvajal was set free in the area by Federico Valverde and he made no mistake with a lovely finish into the left side of the net.

In the 61st minute, Brahim Diaz finished his beautiful individual effort with a superb strike from inside the box to make it 1-3 for the visitors.

Three minutes later, Madrid made it 1-4 from an amazing individual effort from Vinicius Junior, which ended with a strike from inside the penalty area, sending the ball precisely into the bottom right corner.

Osasuna pulled on goal back a minute into added time. Iker Munoz latched on to a precise pass deep inside the box from Jesus Areso, and he beat the goalkeeper with a low shot into the middle of the goal.
