Former Big Brother Naija reality show season 6 housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, and her lover, David Oyekanmi, have held their court wedding at the Ikoyi marriage registry in Lagos.
In viral pictures and videos on Saturday, the couple, dressed in white suits and black pants, recited their vows and afterward took pictures with the attending guests.
David also took to his Instagram story to write “legally married”.
Queen and David got engaged in February.
Queen and David exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony held in Queen’s hometown of Akwa Ibom on March 13th.
The reality star recently gushed over David, saying he “brought immense joy into my life”.
“God acted according to his timing. I’ve consistently prayed for guidance in building a loving family, fulfilling roles as a wife, mother, and follower of his teachings. His response came in due time,” she wrote.
“To my dear husband to be @iam_kingdaivid I thank you deeply for choosing me, for loving me, and for embracing my family as your own. Your presence has brought immense joy into my life. May God bless you abundantly. I promise to continually pray for blessings upon your life. I love you dearly.

In January 2023, the Queen shared pictures of Princess Keilah, whom she welcomed in 2022, but since then, she and Lord Lamba have remained tight-lipped about the matter.
The daughter is a product of a short-lived relationship between Queen and Lord Lamba.
