Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested a 16-year-old boy for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl in a State School in Rumukrushi, Obio-Akpor local government area of the state
The 16-year-old boy had fled from his home and abandoned school when learnt that Police were on his trail after committing the offence last Friday.
However, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the Spokesperson for the State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
She said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Intelligence Department, SCIID for investigation.
The Rivers Police Command spokesperson promised that the outcome of the Investigation will be made known to the public.
