Nigerian Afrobeat star Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has initiated an exciting competition for his latest track, ‘Showa,’ with a grand prize of N5 million up for grabs.
Taking to Instagram page, the renowned ‘Twe Twe’ crooner announced the #SHOWACHALLENGE, where the winner would be determined by the votes of his followers.
Kizz Daniel revealed that the female winner would be awarded with N4 million, while the male winner would receive N1 million, generating buzz across online platforms.
He further shared a video featuring BBNaija reality TV stars Saga and Modella showcasing their acting skills as they took on the musical challenge.
The heartfelt single ‘Showa’ is a standout track from Kizz Daniel’s latest EP album ‘TZA,’ gaining significant traction on various music streaming platforms.
In the video, Saga and Modella portrayed a captivating love story, wearing a variety of stylish outfits and seamlessly matching with the music.
Kizz Daniel captioned the post, “5m for the best duo on this challenge – 4m for the woman, 1m for the man. Y’all be the Judge #SHOWACHALLENGE BY @sagadeolu & @apet_modella.”
However, Kizz Daniel faced criticism online as some accused him of gender bias in the distribution of the prize money, particularly regarding his promotion of the challenge alongside his family.
