Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has offered clarification regarding his decision to relocate his mother’s remains for reinterment.
The ‘Zazu’ artiste recently moved his late mother’s body to a new burial site.
In a widely circulated video on X platform, Portable elaborated on his actions, stating that he had to exhume her body due to the sale of the original burial plot.
He recounted, “I tragically lost my mother when I was just 13 years old. I had to relocate her remains because the land where she was initially laid to rest had been sold.”
Portable further disclosed his intentions to construct a mansion on the newly chosen burial ground as a tribute to his late mother.
