Five facts you should know about Snazzy the Optimist

Michael Chimeruche Alozie, known by his moniker Snazzy the Optimist is a singer, songwriter and rapper from a musically inclined family.

He started as a rapper, performing cover songs in the late 2017, and started releasing original music in 2021. His recent single “Asa” produced by Eternal Africa was released in February this year.

1. He was born Michael Chimeruche Alozie, in Imo State on March 28th.

2. He started his music career professionally in 2021, 3 years after he relocated to Lagos State prior his high school graduation in 2018.

3. He is an alumnus of Tenstrings Music Institute.

4. In 2022 he was profiled by GBA Africa as an artist set to make a name in the Ghanaian music industry.

5. He is among the PM News 23 musicians to watch out for in 2023.
