Popular crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Lagos for his arraignment.

Bobrisky was brought into the court in a white bus at 9:12 am by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Trial judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro, is presiding over other cases and Bobrisky’s case is listed as No 10 on the court’s list.

As of press time, Bobrisky was still sitting inside the bus as parties awaited his arraignment.

Bobrisky, who was arrested by the EFCC on Wednesday, is facing a six-count charge of naira abuse and alleged money laundering.

The Lagos Zonal Command of the agency had invited the 31-year-old crossdresser following a video the release of a video where she was seen spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.

EFCC said its investigation also revealed that Bobrisky had also committed the alleged offence at some other event centers and parties at different times.
