Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was on target on Sunday as Napoli defeated Monza 4-2 away from home as they push for top four finishing.

Monza had opened scoring nine minutes into the game. Alessio Zerbin got to the by-line and sent in a lofted ball. Milan Djuric climbed highest and powered a close-range header inside the right post to make it 1-0.

In the 40th minute,  Osimhen went down under a challenge from the defender. After a check on VAR, the penalty appeal was overruled.

But the Nigerian strike equalised for Napoli the 55th minute of the game. Frank Anguissa sent a superb cross into the box. Osimhen latched on to it and from near the penalty spot powered a header inside the left post, leaving Michele Di Gregorio beaten.
