In a shocking case of digital fraud, Arsène Kaptue, the CEO of Dreamkey Corporation, is under scrutiny for his involvement in a series of scams.
Victims are coming forward, reporting significant financial losses after paying for digital services that were never delivered.
Multiple witnesses have shared their devastating experiences, claiming to have been swindled by Arsène Kaptue for amounts ranging up to several thousand euros.
Flore from Lille, an influencer and content creator, revealed being scammed out of €3500 by Arsène Kaptue for the certification of her social media accounts. Despite payment, her pages were never certified, and no refund was issued.
Another witness, Mamadou Barry, stated: “We were supposed to purchase a service with Arsène. We paid him €7100. We never received the service and were never refunded. It has been a year that we have been chasing after him. We tried everything, but he never refunded the money.”
It has also come to light that Arsène Kaptue was previously involved in a scam with the well-known web comedian and artist Segano over a year ago, raising concerns about his dubious track record.
Additionally, he is suspected of enjoying proximity to a Cameroonian minister, giving him a sense of undue protection. Victims are urging this minister to distance himself from Arsène Kaptue to prevent further scams.
These damning testimonies shed light on Arsène Captue’s deceptive practices. Numerous other complaints have been filed, drawing the attention of Cameroonian authorities. Victims are considering a class-action lawsuit to seek redress for the harm they have suffered.
