Scores of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters have been killed in another clash with the Bakoura Buduma also known as Abou Umaymah’s Boko Haram elements.
The clash occurred on the islands of Kukiri and Lelewa on the Lake Chad shores in Niger Republic.
Impeccable sources told Zagazola Makama,  a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region that that the clash began late afternoon on Thursday.
It was gathered that Abu Umaima Ari Kau led fighters of the Buduma who dispatched from Lelewa and Gadira in Bosso, Diffa region in the Republic of Niger and launched a fresh assault in the camp, killing several ISWAP fighters.
More clashes are expected in the coming weeks
