In response, many followers criticized Edochie for seemingly disregarding Junior Pope’s death by not posting a tribute.

Some speculated that Edochie’s alleged hatred towards Pope stemmed from the latter’s lack of support for Edochie’s marriage to Judy Austin.

Facing a barrage of negative comments, Edochie shared a prayerful post stating that as long as he maintains a pure heart and harbours no ill will towards others, any negative wishes directed at him will ultimately fail.

He wrote: “As long as your heart is clean and you do not wish your fellow human evil….whoever wishes you evil will be put to shame. Amen”.
