Liverpool’s title hope is now in jeopardy as they lost 0-1 to visiting Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday and condemned to third spot in the premier league table.

Eberechi Eze was the hero for Palace as he scored the only goal of the match 14 minutes into the encounter.

Tyrick Mitchell teed up Eze inside the box, and he kept his cool to find the middle of the goal to make it 0-1 for Palace.

Four minutes later, Jean-Philippe Mateta would have scored another goal for Palace, he received a neat pass inside the box and instantly thumped the ball goalward, but a defender made a last ditch block to deny him.

In the 27th minute, Wataru Endo looked on in disbelief after missing his chance. He fired the rebound onto the crossbar.
