Popular US-based Nigerian dancer and singer Korra Obidi has denied ex-husband, Justin Dean’s allegation she cheated while pregnant with their child.
Justin Dean in a video shared via his Instagram page, alleged that Obidi cheated on him while she was five-month pregnant.
But the dancer denied the allegations, saying her ex-husband was chasing clout because she trended last week after she got attacked.
The content creator was seen in distress, frantically washing her face with a Coca-Cola beverage, likely to neutralize the burning sensation of an acid attack.
In the same video, two uniformed officers arrived at the scene. One officer applied a liquid solution to her face, presumably to ease the pain. The other officer can be seen spraying her back, likely administering first aid.
Reacting to her ex husband claims in a video message on Instagram, Obidi said: “Bloggers are learning clout chasing from Mr Justin Dean. I had an accident and I trended; he is now bringing chats from two years ago.
“My lovers, please be wiser than the normal gullible people. Mr Dean is a desperado. When I got my big breakthrough, that was when he filed for divorce. He cannot stand attention that is not on him. This is two years down the line and he is still talking about me because the only way he can stay relevant is to call my name.”
Recalled that Korra Obidi opened up that she publicly confessed to cheating on her estranged husband.
In an interview in 2022, Korra Obidi said she cheated on her husband while she was in Nigeria before she moved to America to be with him.
Speaking in a recent interview with News Central, the mother of two explained that she made the confession because she doesn’t want to live with the secret.
She said she didn’t regret confessing her infidelity, stressing that her confession brought a lot of revelations.
Dean had accused his wife of cheating, being a narcissist and not taking responsibility for her actions as he gave reasons for them getting a divorce.
He also claimed that his wife’s private was named after a club.
In one of his posts, he apologised to fans that felt they had a perfect marriage, stating that likes and views should not be the highlight of a marriage.
Korra and Dean got married in 2018 and have two children together .The marriage crashed in March 2022.
A few weeks after their divorce, Obidi accused her ex-husband of stealing $5000 from their joint account.
In November 202, she also alleged that Dean demanded spousal support from her.
Last year, Obidi claimed she paid half of her bride price. She also alleged she paid $50,000 to Dean just to see her kids.
Dean, however, accused his ex-wife of ruining his reputation in July.
He said her actions caused him harm and made him depressed.
