The Kogi chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reportedly announced Hon. Enemona Anyebe as its consensus candidate for the position of State Chairman.

This decision was made by a committee comprising former governors and party leaders, who reviewed the conduct of the two initial aspirants and deemed it necessary to opt for a neutral person to avoid escalation of the internal crisis within the party.

The committee also zoned other positions as follows:

– Zonal Chairman: Ofu Local Government Area
– Financial Secretary: Idah Local Government Area
– State Publicity Secretary: Dekina Federal Constituency (micro-zoned to Dekina Local Government Area)
– Assistant Financial Secretary: Bassa Local Government Area
– Assistant Legal Adviser: Omala Local Government Area
– Ex-Officio: Anka and Ibaji Local Government Areas
