Popular skit maker and singer, Nasboi, has revealed that he is receiving death threats following his criticism of Wizkid for shading Don Jazzy.

Nasboi chided Wizkid for mocking Don Jazzy during his recent social media outburst while appearing on the Bahd And Boujee Podcast.

In an interview with Cool FM, the content creator said he has been receiving death threats following his outing on the podcast.

He said, “It’s like once you’re a celebrity, you do not have an opinion. But you, who is a normal guy on the street, you have an opinion. You can decide to say you love Wizkid over Davido and that’s okay. And me, who’s a normal guy who is a celebrity, shouldn’t have the same privilege?

Reflecting on the consequences of his comment on the podcast, Nasboi emphasized the importance of free expression, particularly for public figures.

He highlighted the need for individuals in the spotlight to have the same rights to voice their opinions as anyone else.

“Because of what I said on my recent podcast interview. It’s a simple question: Do you think Wizkid offended Don Jazzy with his statement? They asked me a direct question and I think yes. For calling him an influencer, I feel like the context wasn’t okay. I would feel bad.

“And because of what I said about WizKid, somebody is in my DM saying I will die like my brother,” Nasboi revealed, referring to the alarming nature of the threats he has received.

Last year in July, Nasboi lost his only brother to the cold hands of death.

Nasboi revealed that his only brother who passed away on Friday night was only 20 years old.

“I pray God brings me out of this,” the comedian painfully stated.
