Ganduje seeks support for families of Kano mosque attack victims

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has called on the public to support the  families of victims of the attack on a mosque at Larabar Abasawa in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano state.

The mosque was attacked on Wednesday when a 38-year- old man, Shafi’u Abubakar, set it on fire after locking its doors.

15 worshippers died in the arson attack while  17 others sustained injuries.

In a statement, Ganduje said:  “This tragic attack should rightly shake our people to their cores, considering the magnitude of losses; and we stand in solidarity with those who are mourning the loss of their loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every individual impacted by this tragedy.

“In times like these, it is crucial that we come together to support one another, offering comfort, strength, and compassion to those in need.”
