Governor Oyebanji

Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji.

Yinka Oyebode, Special Adviser (Media) to  Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, has  denied that the ongoing working visit of his principal to  United States costs $500,000.

Oyebode in a statement on Sunday, said the online medium  which in a report claimed  that the governor travelled with 20  persons  and spent such amount, was  resorting to blackmail.

“We urge well-meaning citizens of the state and Nigerians in general to disregard the dubious publication which is bereft of substance.

“As a responsible government, we also consider it appropriate to re-state here that Governor Oyebanji followed due protocols in embarking on the trip, which was well publicised.
