Popular Nigerian singer Jaywon has shared insights he gained from the assault case involving hip-hop star, Diddy and his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

On Sunday, Diddy issued a public apology after a video surfaced online on Friday, May 17, showing him physically assaulting Cassie.

The music star explained that he was in a dark place at the time of the incident.

However, his apology was met with heavy criticism from online users, many of whom suggested that he would not have apologized if the video had not been released.

In response to the backlash, Jaywon urged people to pray they never find themselves in situations where they must apologize for actions taken during their darkest moments.

He implied that those who judge and condemn others for their past actions often have their own hidden misdeeds.
