Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has criticized her colleague Yul Edochie over a recent Instagram post regarding the late actor Junior Pope.
In his post, Yul addressed the speculation about his absence from the funeral of a popular actor and his silence on the matter.
He revealed that despite considering the late actor a good friend and brother, he felt repeatedly betrayed by him.
Yul announced his intention to share full details of their conflict to offer lessons to others.
Social media users speculated that Yul was referring to the late John Paul Odowondo, known as Junior Pope.
In response, Sarah Martins accused Yul of trying to exploit Junior Pope’s death for publicity and financial gain on Facebook.
On her Instagram page, Sarah questioned who would defend Junior Pope and suggested that Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin, was behind the post.
She wrote, “Yul Edochie!!! So like this na you wan use the late Junior Pope trend and make money on Facebook huh??? You should be ashamed of your broken self! Hungry Odiegwu!!!.
“I’m 100% sure say an Judy dey push you to dey type that nonsense you typed. So who wan come defend am now wey he don kpai??? Make una try dey get conscience. Very anyhow person.”
