Governor Radda gifts N5.5 million to four cops for combating insecurity

Katsina state Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has appreciated four outstanding police officers with the sum of N5.5 million for their sterling performances in combating insecurity in the state.

He reiterated his desire to keep maintaining good working relationship with all security agencies in the state.

A Statement by his Chef Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed indicated that Governor Radda commended the strong working relationship and synergy among all security agencies operating within the state.

He also appreciated them for working in tandem with his administration’s strategy of fighting insecurity which is yielding positive results.

Governor Radda made this statement while hosting four exceptional police officers from the state command who received special recognition from the Inspector General of Police for their outstanding achievements in combating insecurity.

The Katsina Governor expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of all security personnel in the fight against insecurity. He acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of the officers and highlighted the state government’s immense pride in their accomplishments.

Governor Radda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to collaborating with security agencies to tackle the security challenges affecting Katsina and the nation as a whole. He pledged continued collaboration and partnership to achieve set goals.

In recognition of their exceptional performance, Governor Radda announced a reward of ₦5,500,000 for the four officers.

The breakdown of the reward include ₦2,000,000 for the Chief Superintendent, ₦1,500,000 for the Superintendent, and ₦1,000,000 each for the two Assistant Superintendents of Police.

Earlier, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, presented the four officers – CSP Andrew Alphonsus, SP Ibrahim Garba, Assistant Superintendent of Police Awal Kabir, and Assistant Superintendent of Police Iro Shuaibu to the Governor.

The Commissioner explained that the Inspector General’s award programme was established to motivate police personnel throughout the country.
