Northern Nigeria has 15.23 million out-of-school children – Report

Northern Nigeria has 15.23 million out-of- school children. This is according to a report posted on the X handle of Statisense.

Statisense which got its data from UNICEF also says southern Nigeria has 2.58 million children who are not in school.

The report which is based on 2023 data says North West has 8.04 million out-of-school children while North East follows with 5.06 million. Next comes North Central with 2.12 million.

The South West has 1.15 million out-of-school children. The South South has 769,000 while the South East has 664,000.
