The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Lagos Branch has ordered all workers under the employ of the Lagos State Government to join Labour strike on Monday.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had declared a nationwide strike over minimum wage of hike in electricity tariff beginning from Monday, June 3.

A statement issued by the ASCSN on Sunday and signed by the Secretary, Aladetan Abiodun, said no civil servant should come to work on Monday and must join the strike.

The statement said the action is to press home the demands of the workers, saying that all members were to comply with this directive.
