The Organised Labour is expected to call off its ongoing strike on Tuesday (today) following the resolutions it reached with the Federal Government on Monday night.

A crucial meeting of government officials and labour leaders chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume had led the parties to agree that the tripartite committee on minimum wage would meet everyday for a week.

It was also said at the meeting that President President Bola Tinubu had committed to paying more than N60,000 offered by the Federal Government minimum wage.

The meeting also agreed that no worker would be victimised for joining the strike.
