Nigerian singer Portable has clarified the situation regarding his collaboration with Dammy Krane, a rival of Afrobeats Grammy nominee, Davido.

Taking to his Instagram, he stated that he didn’t intend any disrespect toward the music star, emphasizing that his involvement was solely on a track featuring Dammy Krane.

Portable also alleged that he was not compensated for his contribution, accusing Dammy Krane of exploitation.

He urged those attempting to sour his relationship with Davido not to interfere, expressing gratitude towards Davido as his benefactor.

“Me and anybody no sing to insult Davido. That’s how I was with Davido and people called him saying I sang with Dammy Krane to insult him. Na him feature me oo and he didn’t even give me feature money. He rip me. So abeg o, no allow my helper run from me because of you”.
