May Edochie’s legal counsel, Emeka Ugwuonye, has alleged that Yul Edochie has stopped caring for his children with his estranged wife.
Ugwuonye, in a post on Instagram, claimed that Yul directed his children to meet May to cater to their needs.
He added that Yul claimed May makes more money than him.
He added that Yul has committed a crime by marrying Judy.
“Yul is not supporting his children as we speak. He is not at all. Yul told his daughter that their mother is making more money than him now.
“Can you imagine? So now you are going into polygamy and you cannot take care of the children? You want to try polygamy? So please do not compare the two.
“If you have a marriage under the Marriage Act and try to marry a second one, that is a crime,” he said.
Ugwuonye further alleged that Judy is conducting a “campaign of calumny and smear” against May; an untrue statement made about someone to reduce other people’s respect and admiration for them.
He said partly, “Something else you people do not understand but you will understand today. Ned is taking care of all his children, paying their school fees, feeding them.
“Yul is not doing that. Yul is not supporting his children as we speak, at all. Indeed, Yul told his daughter that their mother is making more money than him now. Can you imagine? So you are going into polygamy and you can’t take care of the children? So please don’t compare the two.”
