Nollywood actor Akah Nnani has opened up about his marriage with his wife, Chidera Nnani.
In a conversation with Toke Makinwa on her show “Toke Moments,” Akah Nnani shared insights into what keeps their relationship strong.
Reflecting on his initial impressions of Toke Makinwa, Akah Nnani admitted to initially judging her but later came to appreciate her widespread appeal.
He emphasized that their marriage is anchored on love rather than mere liking.
He spoke about moments when either he or his wife may not feel particularly fond of each other, yet it is their deep love that binds them together.
Nnani stated that true love means loving someone’s flaws and struggles unconditionally.
“People marry for the wrong reasons every time.
I will say love because there are moments and certain period of time I don’t like my wife, it has happened. And there are period when she does not like me because it is the love that keeps us.
Love is complicated, you have to love somebody’s demons. That is why it is love.”
