CAN speaks about Eid-el-Kabir

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop Daniel Okoh says that Eid-el-Kabir symbolises sacrifice, obedience, and faith.

He counseled Nigerians to embrace peace and unity as the Muslims celebrate the yearly festival.

In a statement on Sunday, the CAN leader said: “This festival symbolizing sacrifice, obedience, and faith, I, on behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), extend warm felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters.

“In the face of current challenges, let us unite in love, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Let us pray for divine intervention in our security, economic, and political struggles. May God’s comfort and strength support the displaced, the bereaved, and the traumatized.
