Tobore Oborevwori, the wife of the Delta state Governor, has urged Nigerians to end discrimination against children with Autism, Down syndrome, and other special needs. She emphasized the importance of allowing these children to interact with their peers.

Mrs. Oborevwori made this appeal during her visit to the Centre for Children with Special Needs in Asaba as part of her birthday celebration. Accompanied by members of her NGO, the “You Matter Charity Foundation,” she brought joy to the children at the center.

She stressed the need for continuous care for these children and pledged to support initiatives aimed at improving their welfare.

Her visit and words of encouragement to the children and their caregivers were timely. In celebration of her birthday, she also distributed food items to the center, orphanages, and homes for the elderly across Delta state.
