Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday visited the nation’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to pay Sallah homage.
Spokesperson of the First Lady, Busola Kukoyi posted the photo of their meeting on her X page on Monday.
She said Obasanjo came to felicitate with the First Lady on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir on Monday. It was not clear whether the visit was in Lagos or Abuja.
Kukoyi tweeted: “Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the First Lady of the Federal of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu after receiving the Former President who came felicitating on the Sallah Celebration on Monday 17th June.”
It should be noted that Obasanjo has not visited President Bola Tinubu since assumption of office on 29 May, 2023.
He had been a critic of Tinubu and did not support his emergence as president, rather, he was supporting the then Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
