Argentina legend Lionel Messi has revealed that Sergio Ramos was the rival that made him “most angry” in his career.
Messi faced Ramos several times when both players were at Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
The 36-year-old has now told Abitare about facing the Spanish defender, who eventually became a team-mate at Paris Saint-Germain.
“We had many clashes with Sergio Ramos: how many times did I argue…He is the player who made me feel the most angry.
“Then we were team-mates, but we always clashed in the Clasico: they were intense matches,” Messi said.
Messi recently revealed that Inter Miami will be his last club, even though he is not ready to retire.
The Barcelona FC star revealed this during an interview with ESPN.
“Inter Miami will be my last club,” Messi said. “I love playing football. I enjoy everything much more because I am aware that there is less [left to play].”
