Csoboth celebrates his goal

Kevin Csoboth’s 100th-minute stunning goal sent Scotland out of Euro 2024 and gave Hungary the hope of qualifying for the knockout stage as one of the best losers.

Both Hungary and Scotland were on the verge of going out of the tournament if the match had ended goalless, but Hungary needed it most with the stunning strike.

A Superb work from Roland Sallai 10 minutes into added time led to the goal. He played a vital role in the build-up as he squared the ball to Csoboth, who beat Angus Gunn with a brilliant shot into the bottom left corner to make it 1-0.

Earlier in the 41st minute, Willi Orban leapt high to meet a beautiful cross from the free-kick into the box and attempted to score with a header. His effort was not accurate enough and bounced away off the bar.
