Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has sold out the 80,000-capacity stadium in London for the second time.

With this feat on Saturday night, Burna Boy becomes the first African artiste to solo-headline a UK stadium twice.

This historic milestone underscores his status as one of Africa’s most prominent global music icons. Nigerians have celebrated Burna Boy’s achievement with awe and pride, highlighting his international recognition and performance prowess.

The self-acclaimed African Giant gave an electrifying performance during his ‘I Told Them’ world tour. He performed songs like I Told Them, Gbona, Dey Play, Location, Sittin’ on Top of the World, Big 7, Talibans Remix, Giza, City Boys, It’s Plenty, Last Last, and so on.

Burna Boy also brought out some Nigerian colleagues on stage, including Omah Lay, Phyno, Shallipopi, Odumodu Blvck, Seyi Vibez among others.

Burna’s show last year had guest appearances from Stormzy, Dave, J Hus, and Popcaan, and others.

Burna Boy’s last year milestone was confirmed by the management of the UK stadium on Twitter.

“@burnaboy’s RECORD-BREAKING concert has now officially SOLD OUT! What an incredible achievement for the first-ever African artist to solo headline a UK stadium!” it read.

Earlier in an interview with London Stadium, Burna spoke on his will to make history and put to rest doubts about his prowess.

“London Stadium is going to be my fairground! I’ve been told that I couldn’t achieve anything because of where I came from. I hope this can show people that when you have a dream it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from, your dream can come true.

“This is going to be legendary, it’s history and I can’t wait for you all to be a part of that,” he said.
