Veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has tackled Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti for taking sides in the controversies over accusations made by Verydarkman against her.
Verydarkman accused Iyabo Ojo of accepting N65 million to seek justice for the late Mohbad.
This issue arose after Kuti publicly supported the alleged oppressed critic, who was recently re-arrested by the police on defamation charges.
In response, Iyabo explained to Kuti why she pursued a case with Verydarkman.
Iyabo clarified that the social media activist accused her and others of taking N65 million to fight for justice for Mohbad Aloba, a former signee of Marlain Music.
She stated that her problem with Verydarkman arose from his explicit accusations and defamation.
Contrary to Verydarkman’s claims, Iyabo revealed that she spent her own money on legal fees during Mohbad’s case.
She also recounted how her husband, Paulo Okoye, urged her to drop the case, only for Verydarkman to target Okoye after Davido’s grand wedding.
